What inspired you to start your business?

After leaving corporate America I went backpacking around the world and realized that we are more alike than we are different. That inspired me to start A2E with a focus on helping people feel understood through consumer and market research and translating those insights into game-changing brand strategy and innovation.

What challenges have you faced as a woman in business?

Women are often overlooked for opportunities or are undervalued. Learning how to navigate these challenges as an entrepreneur has not been easy, but has led to honing adaptability and resilience skills. These are life skills I am grateful for.

How has being a WPO member helped your business?

WPO has helped me think about diversifying my business into new spaces, which has helped create business growth.

What lesson have you learned that you can share with other women entrepreneurs?

"You can’t look in a new direction by looking harder in the same direction." -Edward de Bono

What's your favorite WPO event you've attended?

Jade Simmons' closing presentation at the Las Vegas forum. Her message on finding your unique superpower is one that is not talked about often and she delivered the message with such energy that the entire ballroom was abuzz.
